My name is Ole-Sigurd, and I work as a designer in Oslo, where I live with my wife. I’m a senior designer and have worked with various reputable and established design companies for 12 years.

  • A few years ago, I had the idea of creating a book about bumblebees. For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by nature, insects, and animals. I enjoy drawing/painting nature and being in the great outdoors. Growing up on the beautiful coastline of Helgeland, it's no surprise that I wanted to create a children's book with nature as the theme.

Crowdfunded

Through the norwegian crowdfunding platform Bidra, I quickly saw that people liked the book. I also received a lot of help from parents, children, writers, friends, and editors. The book has been user-tested and quality-checked at every stage.

Now finally available in English.

A magical and heartwarming story

The result is a heartwarming story about helping a little bumblebee. At the same time, the book teaches children about the beauty of spring and its significance for the environment. "Humlespor" is a book that will turn children into conscious and engaged nature advocates.
